Albert Joseph Denbuoy - Titanic Second Class Passenger

Mr Albert Joseph Denbuoy was a second class passenger traveling aboard Titanic to America. He was traveling aboard Titanic with two of his friends from his home in Guernsey: Clifford Thomas Jefferys and Ernest Wilfred Jefferys, who were brothers, and also accompanied by their sister Lillian Elizabeth Renouf and her husband Peter Henry Renouf.

The Renouf's had moved to America in 1907, and had returned to visit home in 1911.Abord Titanic they were returning to America, back to their home in Elizabeth, New Jersey with the group of family and Albert Joseph Denbuoy that they were traveling with. They all boarded Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912.

Albert Joseph Denbuoy was born on 24th April 1886 in Saint Sampson, Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

When Titanic stuck the iceberg on 14th April 1912 he may have been in the second class smoking room with Clifford Thomas Jefferys, Ernest Wilfred Jefferys and Peter Henry Renouf.

After the iceberg struck he is said to have gone to the cabin of Emily Rugg, who was also from Guernsey, and Lillian Winifred Bentham, who returning home from a visit to Guernsey, to alert them to the situation. He is said to have gone to the boat deck with them.

Albert Joseph Denbuoy died in the Titanic disaster. His body is not known to have been recovered.

The other men in his group were also lost. Lillian Elizabeth Renouf as well as Emily Rugg and Lillian Winifred Bentham were rescued.
