Alden Gates Caldwell - Titanic Second Class Passenger
Alden Gates Caldwell was a 10 month old baby traveling aboard Titanic in second class with his mother Sylvia Mae Caldwell and his father Albert Francis Caldwell. His parents were travelling home from Bangkok, Siam (which is now known as Thailand), where Alden Gates Caldwell had been born on 10th June 1911. They boarded Titanic at Southampton.
Alden Gates Caldwell and both his mother and father were rescued from the sinking Titanic in Lifeboat 13.
He later worked as a Chemical Engineer.
Alden Gates Caldwell died in Largo, Florida on 18th December 1992. He was cremated, and there is a memorial to him at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bloomington, Illinois.
