Samuel Abelson - Titanic Second Class Passenger
Samuel Abelson was a 30 year old, believed to be Russian born, second class passenger travelling to New York aboard Titanic with his wife, Anna Abelson. The couple boarded Titanic at Cherbourg, France on 10th April 1912. Their ticket to sail on Titanic, ticket 3361, cost them £24. Prior to boarding Titanic, they both appear to have been living in France.
During the sinking Anna Abelson safely escaped Titanic in Lifeboat 10. Samuel Abelson did not survive. His body is not known to have been recovered.
His wife appears to have spent most of the rest of her life in New York, where she lived until her death in 1963.
