Anthony Wood Frost - Titanic Second Class Passenger

Mr Anthony Wood Frost, employed by Harland and Wolff as a Foreman Engine Fitter, was sailing aboard Titanic as part of Harland and Wolff's, the shipyard that built Titanic, guarantee group.

Anthony Wood Frost was born in in Hull, United Kingdom, in 1873. By the time of the 1901 census he was living in Belfast. He was married to Elizabeth Jane Hamilton (born in 1874) in 1901, and had four children.

He sailed with Titanic on her journey between Belfast and Southampton, and then remained with the ship as she set sail for her maiden voyage to New York. He was accommodated aboard Titanic as a second class passenger.

Harland and Wolff's guarantee group aboard Titanic was made up of Thomas Andrews, William Campbell, Roderick Chisholm, Robert Knight, Francis Parkes, William Marsh and Ennis Hastings. Included in their job aboard the brand new ship was to monitor the performance of the ship and to help resolve any problems with her.

Anthony Wood Frost died during the Titanic disaster on 15th April 1912. His body is not known to have been recovered from the sea afterwards. All of the other members of the guarantee group aboard were also lost.
