Edgar Samuel Andrew - Titanic Second Class Passenger
Mr Edgar Samuel Andrew was a second class passenger travelling aboard Titanic to the United States. He had been studying in Britain and was sailing to America where he was to attend his brother’s wedding. He was originally booked to sail aboard White Star Line’s Oceanic but had to be transferred to Titanic due to a coal strike in Britain causing a shortage of coal. He boarded Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912.
He was born to British parents in Argentina on 28th March 1895.
Edgar Samuel Andrew was lost when Titanic sank. His body is not known to have been recovered.
