Elizabeth Catherine Brown - Titanic Second Class Passenger

Elizabeth Catherine Brown was a second class passenger travelling aboard Titanic with her husband Thomas William Solomon Brown and their 15 year old daughter Edith Eileen Brown. They were travelling aboard the ship as they were moving from Cape Town, South Africa to Seattle, Washington, United States, where her sister lived. She joined Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912.

She was born in 1872 in South Africa.

When Titanic stuck the iceberg she was in her cabin in bed.

Elizabeth Catherine Brown and her daughter were lowered away from Titanic in Lifeboat 14. They both survived.

Her Husband, Thomas William Solomon Brown, was lost in the sinking.

They stayed in America for a bit but then went back to South Africa.

Elizabeth Catherine Brown died on 29th June 1925.
