Florentina Durán Moné - Titanic Second Class Passenger

Florentina Durán Moné was a second class passenger traveling aboard Titanic with her sister Asuncion Durán Moné, making their way to Havana, Cuba. They had been visiting their father in Barcelona, Spain and began their journey from Europe aboard Titanic from Cherbourg, France on 10th April 1912.

She was born in San Adrián, Spain in around 1882.

She and her sister survived the Titanic disaster; they were rescued in Lifeboat 12.

She later married Titanic survivor Julian Padron Manent (born in Spain in 1885); he had travelled in second class, and was returning to Cuba from Spain.

She died in Cuba on 1st October 1959. Her husband died on 6th October 1968.
