Irene Corbett - Titanic Second Class Passenger
Irene Corbett was a second class passenger returning home to America aboard the maiden voyage of RMS Titanic. A resident of Provo, Utah, United States, she, a qualified nurse, had travelled to London, United Kingdom in the later part of 1911 to study Midwifery at General Lying-In Hospital, London. She boarded Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912 to travel home.
Irene Corbett, the daughter of Levi and Mary Colvin, was born on 6th August 1881. She married Walter Corbett (born in 1885), and had three children, Walter (born in 1906), Kady (born in 1908) and Mack (born in 1910) .
Irene Corbett died in the Titanic disaster. Her body is not known to have been recovered.
