John Ashby - Titanic Second Class Passenger
Mr John Ashby was traveling aboard Titanic as a second class passenger, traveling home alone to the United States.
He was born in the United Kingdom on 29th June 1854.
In 1881 he married Emma Keely; in 1889, John Ashby, his wife and their children moved across the Atlantic to the United States.
He is said to have sailed to the United Kingdom to help recover from an accident at work, and boarded Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912 to return home to West Hoboken, New Jersey.
He died in the Titanic disaster on 15th April 1912. His body is not known to have been amongst those recovered.
