Viljo Unto Johannes Hämäläinen was a 7 month old second class passenger from Finland travelling aboard Titanic with his mother Anna Hämäläinen and her friend Marta Histone.
Viljo Unto Johannes Hämäläinen was born on 29th August 1911, in Finland.
Both he and his mother escaped the sinking Titanic on 15th April 1912 in Lifeboat 4, which was amongst the last of the lifeboats to leave the ship.
Aboard Titanic, they were travelling to America to join or re-join his father in Detroit, Michigan, United States. They joined Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912. Marta Hiltunen was lost in the sinking.
Little else is currently known about Viljo Unto Johannes Hämäläinen.
