William Alfred Gaskell - Titanic Second Class Passenger
Mr William Alfred Gaskell, accompanied by Joseph J Fynney, was traveling aboard the maiden voyage of Titanic to New York, from where he was to travel to Canada, where Joseph Fynney was visiting family. They set sail aboard Titanic at Southampton on 10th April 1912.
William Alfred Gaskell was born in the United Kingdom in 1893, in Toxtet, at the time in Lancashire (now Liverpool, Merseyside). The 1911 census listed him as being a cooper.
William Alfred Gaskell did not survive the disaster. His body is not known to have been recovered.
Joseph Fynney was also lost in the disaster.
